Statement | artist based in Limassol, Cyprus
I work as a post-conceptual artist, realizing my ideas at the intersection of installation, sculpture, performance, and abstraction. My practice explores self-identity, everyday life, and contemporary excess through minimalist forms and spatial compositions. It is important for me to convey a specific sensation and state in time, fusing personal emotions and experiences into a single imprint of memory.
I experiment with various media and materials — ceramics, painting, paper, and textiles. The process and material of each work become an extension of the project itself, transforming into an integral part of the artistic statement.
Personal restraint, control, and perfectionism come into conflict with inner emotionality and admiration for spontaneity. Thus, precise and structured forms and lines are combined with unbound, blurred and unpredictable shapes.
